HoR meeting taking place today, PM to respond to MPs’ queries



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting under the Federal Parliament is taking place today at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor, starting at 11 am.

The agenda includes Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli responding to questions from MPs, as outlined in Chapter-9 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079 BS.

Additionally, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel is slated to present a proposal to discuss the ‘Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS’. Amendments to the bill will be presented for a decision.

Minister Poudel will also present a proposal to discuss the ‘Privatization (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS’ in the House, clause by clause, with the amendments to be decided upon.
