Nepal experiencing partial of local and westerly winds



KATHMANDU: Currently, the country is experiencing a partial influence of local and westerly winds.

As of Thursday morning, the weather in the hilly regions remains partly cloudy, while the rest of the country sees mostly clear skies, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

There is a chance of light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in isolated areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces today, the Division said.

Additionally, light snowfall is possible in some high hilly and mountainous areas, as stated in a bulletin issued by the division at 6 AM on Thursday.
