NEPSE falls by 4.98 points, turnover reaches Rs 3.77 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 4.98 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,561.08.

A total of Rs 3.77 billion worth of shares were traded today.

Despite the slight decline in the index, share prices of 77 companies increased, while 8 companies hit the positive circuit limit. However, 170 companies saw a fall in their share prices, and 9 companies remained unchanged.

Except for the hotels, hydropower, mutual fund and trading sectors, all other subgroup indices closed in the red as NEPSE declined.
