Skies to remain clear across the country today



KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that no significant weather systems are currently affecting the country.

The Department stated that the weather will remain partly cloudy this afternoon in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while most other areas are expected to experience clear skies. Light rain or snowfall may occur at one or two locations in the mountainous areas of Koshi Province.

In the Kathmandu Valley, the maximum temperature today is expected to range between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees Celsius at 5:30 this morning.

The Department also noted that cold conditions in the Valley are gradually intensifying.
