HoR meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is taking place today.

The meeting will take place at 11 AM at the Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.

On today’s agenda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to read out the contents of the letter received from the President’s Office regarding the certification of a bill.

Additionally, the Tilganga Netra University Bill, 2081, which originated in the National Assembly and has been returned with a message, will be tabled.

Similarly, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is scheduled to present a proposal to refer the Armed Police Force, Nepal Bill, 2081 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.

Minister Lekhak will also propose that the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081 be discussed clause by clause in the House, after which the amendments received on the bill will be presented for a decision.

Additionally, Home Minister Lekhak is also slated to put forward a proposal for the passage of the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.
