KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one US dollar at 138.83 rupees and the selling rate at 139.43 rupees.

For the European euro, the buying rate is 145.27 rupees, while the selling rate stands at 145.90 rupees.

The UK pound sterling is being bought at 174.95 rupees and sold at 175.71 rupees. The Swiss franc is available for purchase at 153.98 rupees and for sale at 154.65 rupees.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 88.26 rupees, while the selling rate is 88.64 rupees. For one Canadian dollar, the buying rate is 97.89 rupees and the selling rate is 98.31 rupees.

The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 103.47 rupees and the selling rate is 103.91 rupees.

The bank has also set the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen at 9.15 rupees and the selling rate at 9.19 rupees.

The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is 19.07 rupees, with the selling rate at 19.16 rupees.

The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37.02 rupees and the selling rate is 37.18 rupees, while the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is 38.09 rupees and the selling rate is 38.25 rupees.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4.12 rupees, with the selling rate at 4.14 rupees. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is 3.80 rupees and the selling rate is 3.96 rupees.

One Malaysian ringgit is bought at 31.23 rupees and sold at 31.36 rupees. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is 9.64 rupees, and the selling rate is 9.68 rupees.

The central bank has also fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17.85 rupees and the selling rate at 17.93 rupees.

Meanwhile, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is set at 449.87 rupees, with the selling rate at 451.81 rupees.

For one Bahraini dinar, the buying rate is 368.38 rupees and the selling rate is 369.97 rupees. One Omani rial is bought at 360.59 rupees and sold at 362.15 rupees.

Additionally, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at 160 rupees, with the selling rate at 160.15 rupees.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that these exchange rates are subject to change and that rates set by commercial banks may differ. Updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
