Tul Bahadur Kandel appointed Secretary of National Assembly



KATHMANDU: Tul Bahadur Kandel has been appointed as the new Secretary of the National Assembly, according to the Office of the President.

President Ram Chandra Paudel approved the appointment based on the recommendation of National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, in accordance with Article 106, Sub-Article (1) of the Constitution of Nepal. Kandel, a resident of Chaurideurali-8, Kavrepalanchok, will assume his duties with immediate effect.

The previous secretary, Dr. Surendra Aryal, had submitted his resignation, which was approved by the President on October 27. Kandel is scheduled to take his oath of office today at the Agriculture Committee Hall in Singha Durbar.
