Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar has increased. The buying rate for one US dollar is fixed at Rs. 140.47, while the selling rate is Rs. 141.07.

The buying rate for one European euro is Rs. 164.15 and the selling rate is Rs. 164.85. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling stands at Rs. 188.73, and the selling rate is Rs. 189.53. The Swiss franc is being bought at Rs. 177.41 and sold at Rs. 178.16.

One Australian dollar is being bought for Rs. 91.19 and sold for Rs. 91.58. Meanwhile, 10 Japanese yen are being bought for Rs. 9.35 and sold for Rs. 9.39. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs. 19.72 for buying and Rs. 19.80 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.45 and sold at Rs. 37.61, while the Qatari riyal is trading at Rs. 38.54 for buying and Rs. 38.70 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs. 4.30 and sold at Rs. 4.31. The UAE dirham stands at Rs. 38.24 for buying and Rs. 38.41 for selling. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs. 33.24 and sold at Rs. 33.38. The South Korean won is trading at Rs. 9.89 for buying and Rs. 9.94 for selling.

The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs. 14.86, and the selling rate is Rs. 14.92, while the Danish kroner is being bought at Rs. 21.98 and sold at Rs. 22.07.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 18.08 (buying) and Rs. 18.16 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs. 459.38 for buying and Rs. 461.34 for selling.

The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs. 372.62 for buying and Rs. 374.22 for selling. The Omani riyal is being bought at Rs. 364.84 and sold at Rs. 366.40.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.

The central bank has noted that these rates are subject to change at any time, depending on market conditions. It also clarified that the exchange rates provided by commercial banks may differ, and the most up-to-date rates can be found on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
