Chinese Ambassador meets PM Karki, vows support



KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador Chen Song met with Prime Minister (PM) Sushila Karki on Thursday afternoon at the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the meeting, Ambassador Song reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Nepal, emphasizing that China respects the aspirations of the Nepali people and stands ready to assist the government as a good neighbor.

“We respect the wishes of the Nepali people,” the Ambassador said. “We will continue to provide support in the days ahead and are prepared to offer whatever assistance the government requires.”

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this was the ambassador’s first official meeting with Prime Minister Karki since the formation of the interim government.
