NEPSE slips marginally by 0.10% to close at 2,609.05



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined slightly on Sunday, shedding 2.79 points (0.10%) to close at 2,609.05. This minor drop follows an earlier loss of 8.41 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,608.26, climbing as high as 2,625.26 during the day before dipping to a low of 2,606.09.

Trading volume reached Rs. 8.50 billion, with a total of 16,907,737 shares changing hands in 79,893 transactions across 309 listed companies.

The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 4.34 trillion, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 1.45 trillion.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led the turnover list with trades worth Rs. 70.37 crores, closing at Rs. 1,297 per share.
