HoR meeting taking place today for key bill discussions

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today at 11:00 AM.

According to the scheduled agenda, a proposal will be tabled to seek the House’s approval to forward the ‘Nepal Aviation Services Authority Bill, 2081’ to the relevant committee for detailed, clause-by-clause deliberation.

Similarly, the ‘Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Bill, 2081’ will also be proposed for referral to the respective committee for further discussion.

Both proposals are expected to be presented by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey.

In addition, Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Raghuji Pant, is slated to present a proposal for deliberation on the ‘Dasarath Chand University of Health Sciences Bill, 2080’, which originated in the National Assembly.

This will be accompanied by the corresponding report from the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee.

Padma Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, confirmed that the agenda also includes endorsement of the health sciences university bill following the discussion.
