Three parliamentary committees to meet today



KATHMANDU: Three committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene at 11:00 AM to discuss the draft of its annual report for the fiscal year 2081–82.

Simultaneously, the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will also meet at 11:00 AM.

The committee is expected to deliberate on the report submitted by a subcommittee regarding the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080, which outlines provisions for the formation, operation, and service conditions of the federal civil service.

Later in the day, the Legislative Management Committee will meet at 1:00 PM to hold discussions on laws that remain pending as per constitutional requirements.
