PM Oli presides over 9th Assembly of PoAHS

KATHMANDU: The Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences has held its ninth assembly today. Prime Minister and Chancellor of PoAHS, KP Sharma Oli chaired the assembly.

During the assembly convened at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the budget and programme of the Academy for current fiscal year has been approved.

Similarly, the meeting was briefed about the report of Auditor General of the last fiscal year. Emphasis was laid to pay attention on the sides to be improved.

On the occasion, Chancellor Oli directed the PoAHS to make health services along with medical education effective.

He urged the bodies concerned to pass the budget and programme before the fiscal year starts.

Vice Chancellor Dr Duk Bahadur Chhetri presented the PoAHS’s progress report made in academic, managerial and health service sectors.

Minister for Health and Population and Pro-Chancellor of the PoAHs, Pradip Paudel, was also present on the occasion.
