NSU protests at RR Campus, demands FSU elections

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) staged a protest at RR Campus, demanding the immediate holding of the Free Student Union (FSU) elections.

The protest erupted after the campus administration decided to postpone the elections, citing an unfavorable situation caused by the campus being locked last night by the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), a student wing affiliated with UML.

NSU members gathered in front of the campus, shouting slogans and expressing their dissatisfaction with the decision.

They demanded that the elections be held without further delay, condemning the obstruction created by ANNFSU.

The campus administration has not yet announced a new date for the elections, leaving students uncertain about when the voting will take place.
