PM Karki to brief 26 foreign envoys on political situation and upcoming elections



KATHMANDU: In a move to engage the international community, Prime Minister Sushila Karki is meeting with 26 foreign ambassadors and diplomatic mission heads at Singha Durbar today to discuss Nepal’s current political climate and preparations for the upcoming federal elections.

According to sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Karki is expected to brief the envoys on Nepal’s current political climate and provide updates on the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, 2026.
