Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for Friday. According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar has declined. The buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 140.22, while the selling rate stands at Rs 140.82.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro has been fixed at Rs 163.31, with the selling rate at Rs 164.01. The British Pound Sterling is being traded at Rs 188.21 for buying and Rs 189.02 for selling. The Swiss Franc is set at Rs 175.75 for buying and Rs 176.50 for selling.

The Australian Dollar’s buying rate is Rs 91.23, while the selling rate is Rs 91.62. The Canadian Dollar stands at Rs 99.81 for buying and Rs 100.23 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore Dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.19 for buying and Rs 108.65 for selling.

For the Japanese Yen, the rate for 10 yen is Rs 9.26 for buying and Rs 9.30 for selling. One Chinese Yuan is valued at Rs 19.68 for buying and Rs 19.76 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at Rs 37.39 for buying and Rs 37.55 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is set at Rs 38.47 for buying and Rs 38.63 for selling.

According to the central bank, one Thai Baht is priced at Rs 4.31 for buying and Rs 4.33 for selling. The UAE Dirham is fixed at Rs 38.18 for buying and Rs 38.34 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is valued at Rs 33.17 for buying and Rs 33.31 for selling.

For 100 South Korean Won, the rate is Rs 9.89 for buying and Rs 9.93 for selling. The Swedish Kronor stands at Rs 14.83 for buying and Rs 14.89 for selling, while the Danish Kronor is fixed at Rs 21.87 for buying and Rs 21.96 for selling.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar has been set at Rs 18.04, with the selling rate at Rs 18.12. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at Rs 458.44 for buying and Rs 460.40 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar stands at Rs 371.96 for buying and Rs 373.55 for selling. The Omani Rial is valued at Rs 364.19 for buying and Rs 365.75 for selling.

The exchange rate for one hundred Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to change at any time as needed. Additionally, commercial banks may set their own rates, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
