UAE government grants amnesty to 120 Nepalis



KATHMANDU: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has granted amnesty to 120 Nepali citizens who were serving prison sentences for various offenses.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the UAE government pardoned the remaining sentences of these individuals. The decision was made in celebration of the major Islamic festival of Al-Ahad, the embassy said.
