Two parliamentary committees holding meetings today



KATHMANDU: Two parliamentary committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today.

The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene at 8:30 a.m. at Singha Durbar. The meeting will discuss the amendment proposal to the Nepal Lawyers Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081.

In addition, members will deliberate on matters related to on-site observation and monitoring of buffer zones.

Later in the day, the Legislative Management Committee will meet at 1 p.m., also at Singha Durbar. The committee is set to hold a clause-wise discussion on the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080.
