House of Representatives meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is meeting today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor. The main agenda of the meeting is to pass the Federal Civil Service Bill.

Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta is scheduled to present a proposal to discuss the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082, along with the report of the State Administration and Good Governance Committee.

The proposal is expected to be discussed and passed during today’s session, marking a significant step toward enacting the long-pending bill.

In addition, Committee Chairperson Ramhari Khatiwada is set to present the report on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2082, on behalf of the State Administration and Good Governance Committee.
