Two killed, two critically injured in Arghakhanchi motorcycle accident



ARGHAKHANCHI: Two people were killed and two others seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Sourekhola, Chhatradev Rural Municipality-1, Arghakhanchi.

According to the District Police Office, 21-year-old Tara Belbase from Panini Rural Municipality-5 and 35-year-old Suman Sunar from Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi, lost their lives when two motorcycles collided last evening. Both victims were the riders of the motorcycles, police said.

Dipa Belbase, 18, of Arghakhanchi, and Suraj Sunar, 44, of Gulmi, who were also riding on the motorcycles, sustained critical injuries. District Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma confirmed that both seriously injured individuals have been referred to Palpa for further treatment. The police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident.
