Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



 

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the official foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs. 140.84, while the selling rate is Rs. 141.44.

The buying rate for one euro is Rs. 165.61, and the selling rate is Rs. 166.31. Similarly, the British pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 191.75 and sold at Rs. 192.57. The buying and selling rates for the Swiss franc are Rs. 177.20 and Rs. 177.96, respectively.

The Australian dollar is being exchanged at Rs. 93.79 for buying and Rs. 94.18 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs. 101.89 for buying and Rs. 102.33 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs. 109.92 and sold at Rs. 110.39.

The exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.55 for buying and Rs. 9.59 for selling. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.78 and sold at Rs. 19.86. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs. 37.55 for buying and Rs. 37.71 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs. 38.64 and Rs. 38.80, respectively.

According to NRB, the Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs. 4.42 for buying and Rs. 4.44 for selling. The UAE dirham is listed at Rs. 38.34 buying and Rs. 38.51 selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is at Rs. 33.49 and Rs. 33.64, respectively.

The South Korean won (per 100 units) is set at Rs. 10.14 for buying and Rs. 10.18 for selling. The Swedish krona is being exchanged at Rs. 15.19 buying and Rs. 15.25 selling, and the Danish krone at Rs. 22.18 buying and Rs. 22.28 selling.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs. 18.11, and the selling rate is Rs. 18.18. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 461.39 and sold at Rs. 463.36. The Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs. 373.56 for buying and Rs. 375.15 for selling. The exchange rate for the Omani rial is Rs. 365.80 for buying and Rs. 367.36 for selling.

For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is Rs. 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs. 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change as needed, and the rates offered by commercial banks may vary.
