Rabi Lamichhane taken to Nakkhu Prison, supporters kept waiting at TIA

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane, who was flown to Kathmandu from Rupandehi Prison, was transferred directly to Nakkhu Prison in Lalitpur on Saturday.

Authorities diverted him to Nakkhu without allowing supporters and party members, who had gathered at Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome him, to meet him.

Lamichhane was escorted from the airport via the Nepal Oil Corporation route before being taken to the prison.
