KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is meeting at 11 a.m. today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is expected to present two budget-related bills during the session.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Finance Minister Paudel will likely table the Appropriation Bill, 2082 and the National Debt Collection Bill, 2082.
He will also respond to lawmakers’ questions regarding the annual revenue and expenditure estimates for fiscal year 2082/83.
Additionally, the meeting will table the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079, along with a message received from the National Assembly.
