Finance Minister to address HoR on Appropriation Bill discussions



KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel is set to address the House of Representatives today, responding to lawmakers’ concerns regarding the ‘Principles and Priorities of the Appropriation Bill (excluding tax proposals)’.

The House meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

Deliberations on the appropriation bill for the fiscal year 2082/83, which began on Baisakh 30, are expected to conclude today.

Following the completion of discussions, Minister Poudel will deliver his response, informed Padya Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

The Business Advisory Committee, led by Speaker Devraj Ghimire, had allocated discussion time to political parties accordingly.
