PM Oli lays foundation stone for road project in Dhanusha



JANAKPURDHAM: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone for a major road project during a ceremony held today in Manharpur, Dhanusha.

Prime Minister Oli, along with Madhes Province Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal, jointly laid the foundation stone for the road at Gyan Chowk, Manharpur, located in Dhanusha Constituency No. 1.

The 16.35-kilometer road will connect Kharihani and Simadhi via Manharpur and Hanspur. The project falls under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of Madhes Province. The construction contract for the road—estimated to cost a total of Rs 650 million—has been awarded for Rs 444.8 million.
