Gold hits Rs 197,500 per tola, silver remains stable



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has continued to climb, approaching the Rs 200,000 mark per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, gold rose by Rs 400 per tola today, following a sharp increase of Rs 4,200 on Friday.

With today’s rise, gold is being traded at Rs 197,500 per tola, up from Rs 197,100 on Friday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remains unchanged at Rs 2,165 per tola, the Federation said.
