Court defers hearing in cooperative fraud case against Rabi Lamichhane



POKHARA: The case against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane has been deferred under the ‘hearing continued’  status by the Pokhara High Court.

The case, which involves allegations of cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering, was heard on Thursday by a joint bench of Chief Judge Dr. Ratna Bahadur Bagchand and Judge Milan Kumar Rai.

Deputy Attorney General Dasharath Pangeni from the Office of the High Government Attorney began arguments on behalf of the state. According to court spokesperson Neel Prasad Paneru, the prosecution’s arguments will continue on Friday.
