KATHMANDU: Xiao Jie, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, has arrived in Kathmandu for an official visit to Nepal.
He is leading a Chinese delegation participating in the Sagarmatha Sambad, a high-level dialogue forum.
Vice Chairman Xiao was received on Thursday morning at Tribhuvan International Airport by Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri.
The Sagarmatha Sambad is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from May 16 to 18.
