Bipin’s body at forensic center in Israel for identity confirmation



TEL AVIV: The body of Bipin Joshi, the Nepali national confirmed dead after being held hostage by Hamas, has arrived at a forensic facility in Israel for identity verification and determination of the cause of death.

Israeli forces received four coffins containing the remains of deceased hostages, including Joshi, late Monday night, following Hamas’s announcement that they would be returned that evening.

According to the Israeli military, all four bodies have been transferred to the National Center of Forensic Medicine for formal identification. Authorities have urged the public and media to exercise sensitivity during the process.
