Gold price drops by Rs 700 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has declined slightly in the domestic market today, while silver has seen a modest increase.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 700 per tola compared to last Friday. Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 215,100 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 5, reaching Rs 2,570 per tola.

On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 215,800 per tola, and silver at Rs 2,565 per tola. Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently trading at USD 3,643 per ounce, as reported by international financial media.
