One dead, three injured in Myagdi jeep accident



MYAGDI: One person died and three others were injured in a jeep accident in Runma, Malika Rural Municipality-5 of Myagdi, last evening.

According to police, a Bolero (Ga 2 Cha 4392) heading to Runma from Darwang lost control and plunged about 40 meters off the road.

Chandevi Fagami, 43, of Malika-5, died on the spot, informed Police Inspector Sagar Poudel.

The injured have been identified as the driver, Chandra Pun (40), Sirjana Gharti (14), and Bhabiraj Fagami (73), all from Malika-5. They are currently undergoing treatment at Darwang Basic Hospital.

Police said an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
