KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal witnessed a sharp increase on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 4,200 per tola, bringing it to Rs 197,100 per tola.

The significant rise in precious metal prices is attributed to fluctuations in the international market and growing investor interest amid economic uncertainties.
