Nepal Insurance Authority to conduct hearings on insurance claims from April 14



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Insurance Authority is set to conduct hearings on insurance claims at its central office building starting April 14. The decision was made during a recent Board of Directors meeting.

The Authority has directed the management to make physical arrangements and complete other necessary preparations to ensure a smooth hearing process.

In addition, the meeting decided to regularly publish weekly case lists and decisions on insurance claims on the Authority’s official website, enhancing transparency and accessibility for policyholders and stakeholders.

The new initiative aims to streamline the resolution of insurance claim disputes and make the process more efficient and transparent.
