PM Oli extends heartfelt wishes on Phagu Poornima



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended warm greetings and best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of Phagu Poornima, also known as Holi.

The Prime Minister took to his social media account to convey his message to Nepalis living at home and abroad, expressing his hope for joy and enthusiasm during the festival.

Describing Phagu Poornima as a festival that symbolizes the renaissance of nature, Prime Minister Oli referred to the occasion as both Basantaotsav and Madanotsav. He highlighted that the festival, celebrated during the full moon of the spring season, is a time to spread happiness and unity among people.

In his message, the Prime Minister said, “Best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Phagu Poornima, the festival of joy and enthusiasm. Happy Holi!”
