Gold and silver prices go up



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have seen a sharp rise in the Nepali market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 2,300 per tola, reaching Rs 169,800 per tola. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs. 167,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased, reaching Rs 1,965 per tola today, up from Rs 1,930 per tola on Wednesday.

The surge in prices is attributed to fluctuations in the international market, impacting the local trading rates.

Investors and traders are closely monitoring the market as gold continues to remain a preferred investment amid global uncertainties.
