NEPSE dips by 20.56 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 20.56 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,544.59 points.

According to NEPSE, a total of shares worth Rs 3.84 billion were traded during the day. Out of the total listed companies, share prices of 198 declined, 49 gained, while 7 remained unchanged.

All sectoral sub-indices except manufacturing and processing recorded declines.

Analysts attributed the market fall to profit booking and a lack of strong buying momentum following recent gains.
