Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates applicable for today.

As per the central bank, the US dollar is being traded at NPR 137.37 for buying and NPR 137.97 for selling.

The Euro stands at NPR 156.02 for buying and NPR 156.71 for selling, while the British pound sterling is valued at NPR 179.78 on the buying side and NPR 180.57 on the selling side.

Similarly, the Swiss franc is exchanged at NPR 168.38 for buying and NPR 169.11 for selling.

The Australian dollar is being traded at NPR 85.71 for buying and NPR 86.09 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 98.80 for buying and NPR 99.23 for selling.

For the Singapore dollar, the rates are NPR 104.03 and NPR 104.48 respectively. Ten Japanese yen are worth NPR 9.63 for buying and NPR 9.67 for selling, while the Chinese yuan is exchanged at NPR 18.82 for buying and NPR 18.90 for selling.

In the Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal is set at NPR 36.59 for buying and NPR 36.75 for selling, whereas the Qatari riyal is valued at NPR 37.68 and NPR 37.85 respectively.

The UAE dirham is being traded at NPR 37.40 for buying and NPR 37.56 for selling.

Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 448.64 for buying and NPR 450.60 for selling, the Bahraini dinar at NPR 364.42 and NPR 366.00, and the Omani rial at NPR 356.82 and NPR 358.38 respectively.

Among other currencies, the Thai baht is traded at NPR 4.10 for buying and NPR 4.11 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit is set at NPR 31.06 and NPR 31.20. One hundred South Korean won are valued at NPR 9.60 for buying and NPR 9.64 for selling.

The Swedish krona is exchanged at NPR 14.00 for buying and NPR 14.06 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 20.89 and NPR 20.98 respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar is being traded at NPR 17.71 for buying and NPR 17.79 for selling.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
