Bill on Improving Business Environment presented in HoR



KATHMANDU: The Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to the Improvement of Economic and Business Environment and Promotion of Investment 2081 BS has been presented in the House of Representatives (HoR).

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel introduced the Bill during today’s lower house session.

In response to questions and concerns raised by lawmakers opposing the Bill, Minister Paudel emphasized that the purpose of the legislation is to create a more favorable economic and business environment in the country.

The session, by a majority vote, rejected the objections raised by lawmakers Prabhu Saha, Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Prem Suwal, Ranendra Baraili, Chitra Bahadur KC, and Hit Bahadur Tamang.
