Nine construction companies blacklisted



KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted nine construction companies following requests from various bodies.

Issuing a public notice today, the office stated that these companies have been barred from participating in any public procurement proceedings for a period ranging from one to one and a half years.

Among the blacklisted companies are Taralakshmi Nirman Sewa, Mamata Manju Construction Pvt. Ltd. , Sanam Nirman Sewa, Nirjara Nirman Sewa , G.S. Nirman Sansar Company Pvt. Ltd. and Common Construction.

The office has stated that the companies have been blacklisted as per the recommendations from concerned authorities.

During the blacklisting period, these companies will not be allowed to take part in any procurement proceedings of public bodies. The office emphasized that the decision was taken to maintain accountability and transparency in public contracts.
