China is about to break its own world record and build a bigger river dam. According to experts, the dam under construction on the eastern side of the Tibetan plateau will bring destruction to Bangladesh.

Topography of riverine area of the Jamuna river in Bangladesh is likely to witness major changes in the coming days.

In the rainy season, due to release of huge water from the proposed dam, vast areas of Bangladesh in the Jamuna basin area will be inundated.

However, the same area will dry up in the dry season if China blocks release of water from the dam.

The course of many rivers in Bangladesh can also be changed. Not only that, many fear that if the world’s largest dam is built, the risk of earthquake will increase.

It should be remembered that the terrible earthquake of 1787 changed the course of the Jamuna in Bangladesh.

However, Beijing-lovers are silent about China’s disastrous river governance project.

Knowing that the country is being ruined, many are brokering China for personal interests. Because of them, the Yamuna basin region is going to be ruined.

There may also be a shortage of water during the dry season. The Brahmaputra or Yarlung Tsangpo is located in an earthquake-prone area.

China is building this dam on the Jima Yongjong glacier on the eastern side of the Tibetan Plateau.

Chinese media have reported that they are building the world’s largest dam to produce hydroelectricity in their country. In the lower valley, the dam is on the Yarlung Tsangpo River.

This river is known as the Shiang or Siong River in Arunachal Pradesh, India. After entering the state of Assam, the name of Siong was changed to Brahmaputra.

The Brahmaputra enters Bangladesh through Kurigram. Near Dewanganj inJamalpur, the Brahmaputra turns southeastwards and flows through Jamalpur and Mymensingh districts before joining the Meghna in south of Bhairab Bazar.

Then in 1787, the river changed direction in an earthquake. The main tributary of this river is the Jamuna. If the river mouth of Jamuna is controlled, then it is easy to imagine how much disaster is waiting for Bangladesh.

Most alarmingly, the influential people of Bangladesh are silent for mysterious reasons, knowing that such a great loss is going to be done to their country.

Although their affinity with China has increased, they are not even requesting China to refrain from this project in the interest of the country.

Many people think that China is spending a lot of money for their interests to destroy Bangladesh by keeping the public opinion of Bangladesh in their favor.

How selfish China is in geopolitics is clear from its engagement in contemporary events.

The communist-ruled neo-imperialist country cannot be anyone’s friend. Many people think that Xi Jinping’s China is more than happy with the destruction of neighbors.

The country, known internationally as ‘usury’, has been trying to bind Bangladesh in debt trap for a long time.

But a class of brokers, knowing everything, is bringing ruin to the country by worshiping China.

At present, under the interim government, China’s love has increased. Many people are increasing their affinity with the country, which is identified as an anti-liberation force of Bangladesh, keeping in mind the fear of ruin of the country.

They are also silent on the construction of hydroelectric dams at the source of the Jamuna river.

While Bangladesh has been silent on the construction of a dam for the world’s largest hydropower project, protests have started in India irrespective of party affiliation.

India has already started lobbying at the international level to prevent China from controlling the water of the Brahmaputra as it wishes. But Bangladesh is still silent.

But experts say that Bangladesh will be the most affected by this river dam. Because if less water comes from China, less water will come to Bangladesh through India in the dry season.

Again, in the rainy season, the entire water will go down from India to Bangladesh in the normal rhythm of the river.

Therefore, the danger will increase the most in the catchment area of Jamuna.

According to the report of the ‘South China Morning Post’ newspaper, the dam is being built at a cost of $ 137 billion. There are no more expensive projects in the world.

The dam will be able to generate 300 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

China’s Xinhua news agency reported that the aim is to meet China’s carbon neutrality targets, boost industries such as engineering and increase employment in Tibet. But China is going to ruin other countries to fulfil its goals.

If this dam is built, the local ecosystem will be severely damaged. It will also affect the flow and route of the river. Hundreds of thousands of people will also be displaced.

Before this, China has built the Three Gorges Dam at a cost of $ 134.83 billion. At that time, it was the largest river dam in the world.

At that time, 14 lakh people were displaced. The cost of building this dam is at least three times the Three Gorges. As a result, millions of people may leave their homes.

Protests have started in other countries of the world. But Bangladesh is still silent. Rather, knowing that Bangladesh will suffer the most, some are busy covering up the matter to maintain their wealth in Chinese money.

According to Chinese state media, the production capacity of the new project is three times more than the previous dam.

As a result, the risk of destruction is increasing three times. But the leaders of Bangladesh are silent!

No matter what Beijing promises, the Chinese dam will stop the natural flow of the Brahmaputra.

As a result, the fear that more water will be pushed upstream in the rainy season is not unfounded.

There may also be a shortage of water during the dry season. The Brahmaputra or Yarlung Tsangpo is located in an earthquake-prone area.

Such river governance increases the risk of earthquakes. The natural balance will be destroyed.

In 2005, NASA scientists said that the pressure of the huge water of China’s Three Gorges Dam has made the earth a little more submerged than before.

As a result, the middle part of the Earth is slightly swollen and the two polar regions are pressed.

There has also been a change in the speed of the Earth’s diurnal speed. Geologists fear that if a dam three times bigger than the Three Gorges is built, the balance of the earth may be disturbed. China is still going to implement its own project.

Protests have started in other countries of the world. But Bangladesh is still silent. Rather, knowing that Bangladesh will suffer the most, some are busy covering up the matter to maintain their wealth in Chinese money.

As a result, the possibility of disaster in the Jamuna basin region is going to be a serious disaster in the hands of China in the coming days.
