Actors, independent politicians, and former candidates join Kulman Ghising’s Ujyalo Nepal Party

KATHMANDU: Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has officially stepped into politics by updating the registration of the Ujyalo Nepal Party through his close aides.

According to the Election Commission’s assistant spokesperson, Prakash Neupane, the party previously led by Gyan Bahadur Tamang has been amended to appoint former secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyaya as coordinator. The proposal to make Upadhyaya the coordinator was put forward by Ghising himself.
