Over 8,700 students pass MBBS entrance examination



KATHMANDU: A total of 8,772 candidates have passed the integrated entrance examination for the MBBS program, according to the Medical Education Commission (MEC).

The results, published on Monday, cover the entrance examination conducted for the 2025/26 academic session. The exam was held on November 1, after being postponed due to the Gen-Z movement and other disruptions.

The MEC said that successful candidates will now proceed to the next stages of the admission process as per the Commission’s schedule.
