Man kills wife hours after release from prison in Parbat



PARBAT: A man released from prison on a rape conviction has allegedly killed his wife on the very day of his release.

According to District Police Office Parbat Chief DSP Vijay Yadav, 51-year-old Jit Bahadur BK of Modi Rural Municipality, who was freed from jail on Monday afternoon, murdered his wife, Sita BK, later that night.

Police said the incident occurred at their residence, where Jit Bahadur attacked his wife with a sickle, killing her on the spot.

DSP Yadav confirmed that police have begun a detailed investigation into the incident, adding that further details are yet to emerge.
