Prohibition and curfew remain in place in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army has enforced a prohibition order across all three districts of the Kathmandu Valley even today.

According to an official statement, the prohibition will be in effect from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while a curfew will remain in place from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM on September 10.

The Army has designated two time slots—6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM—for essential movement during the day. Vehicles transporting food, milk, vegetables, water, and medicines will be permitted to operate during these hours.

Additionally, government employees and staff of banks and financial institutions are allowed to commute by displaying their official identification cards.
