KATHMANDU: Sabina Maskey has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom.
Her appointment was made as per a ministerial-level decision of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on Wednesday, through appointment letter No. 3178 of the institution.
Prior to this, Maskey had been serving as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the company. She officially assumed her new responsibility as Acting Managing Director starting today.
Maskey holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Dalian Maritime University, China.
Upon assuming office, she expressed her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to her by the government and the Ministry, even under challenging circumstances. She pledged to work with the support and cooperation of all stakeholders to drive the company’s progress forward.
