Gold price rises by Rs 600 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 600 per tola today (Tuesday).

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price, which had risen on Sunday and Monday, continued to climb today.

Gold is now priced at Rs 170,200 per tola, after a rise of Rs 600.

Following a slight drop last Friday, the price of gold has been consistently rising for three consecutive days. On Monday, the price increased by Rs 1,400 per tola.

On Sunday, the price of gold was Rs 168,200 per tola. In the past three days, the price has surged by Rs 5,700, despite a decrease of Rs 400 per tola on Friday.

The price of silver has dropped by Rs 30 per tola today and is now being traded at Rs 1,945 per tola, down from Rs 1,975 per tola yesterday.
