Finance Ministry replaces SEBON Board Member, appoints Uttar Khatri

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Finance has appointed Senior Joint Secretary Uttar Khatri to the board of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), replacing Mahesh Baral.

Baral has been transferred to lead the Public Financial Management Training Center under the ministry. As required by law, SEBON’s board includes a representative from the Finance Ministry. Although Khatri has been appointed, he has not yet participated in any board meetings.

The reshuffle follows the appointment of Finance Minister Rameswor Khanal and is part of a broader restructuring within the ministry.
