Nepal Army calls for social harmony and national unity



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has appealed to the public to remain calm and maintain social harmony and national unity amid the ongoing unrest.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Army highlighted the importance of preventing the situation from escalating further. It reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the lives and property of the people.

“In this difficult situation, it is our collective responsibility to safeguard the country’s historical, cultural, archaeological, and national assets,” the statement read.

The Army urged all young people and citizens to act with restraint, uphold unity, and ensure that the current circumstances do not become more complicated.
