Shankar Pokharel calls for patience, says UML will rise again

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has called on party members and supporters to remain patient and composed, expressing confidence that the party will rise again.

On Wednesday morning, Pokharel shared a poem by poet Netralal Abhagi on Facebook. At the end of the post, he wrote: “Let us be patient, let us remain calm—we will rise again.”

His statement comes a day after the second day of the Gen Z-led movement, during which major state institutions were damaged, ultimately leading to the fall of the UML-led government.
