KATHMANDU: Nepal has suffered a heavy loss to North Korea in its final match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
In the match held in Bhutan, North Korea thrashed Nepal 11-0 to secure qualification for the Asian Cup. Nepal conceded five goals in the first half and six more in the second.
Earlier in the tournament, Nepal had drawn 1-1 with Bhutan and defeated Saudi Arabia by a single goal.
